How the mailbox connects

In Quoting24 the Mail channel is an email-type tenant: from Email settings you link the warehouse mailbox. There are two main paths.

With IMAP/SMTP you enter username, IMAP/SMTP hosts and ports, and the password: Quoting24 creates the connection, encrypts credentials and starts the sync session. With Outlook / Microsoft 365 you use OAuth login: Quoting24 opens the Microsoft URL, you authorize the account, and on return the connection is ready (Graph protocol).

What happens after connecting

Once connected, the mailbox syncs folders and messages. In the Mail view you read inbox, sent, drafts and other mailboxes; you can reply, create drafts, move or delete, with attachments and signatures managed by the connection.

For email tenants home is Mail (not the WhatsApp ticket list): threads have open, paused or closed status and you can assign operators — the same operational vocabulary as tickets.

Status, signature and disconnect

In Settings you see the status of every linked mailbox: available, syncing, auth failed, error or disconnected. You can update signature and settings, pause or remove the connection.

So requests that still arrive by email do not stay only in Outlook or Gmail: they enter the warehouse Quoting24 flow, with the same team and operational control.
