Inbox & tickets

WhatsApp requests enter Quoting24 as tickets, not endless chats. List on the left, conversation in the center, vehicle and parts on the right: the team works on the same number without losing messages, context or quotes.

  • One quote request = one distinct ticket
  • Three areas: ticket list, chat, plate/VIN/parts search
  • Statuses: open, unread, paused, closed
  • Filters, preview, company/# and cutoff in the list
  • Internal notes, ticket merge, history and daily report

Try it: change status, assign, filter. It is a simulation — nothing is sent.

The parts seller’s main screen

After login Quoting24 opens the main screen: not a generic chat, but the warehouse workspace. On the left the ticket list, in the center the customer conversation, on the right plate, VIN, exploded views and parts search.

Unlike traditional WhatsApp, where everything stays in one continuous stream, here every quote has a start and an end: open, work, close — and the next request does not blur into yesterday’s.

Left: an operational ticket queue

The left list is the warehouse queue. Each row is a request: you see status, assignee initials, hover preview and, next to the contact, the company name (plus company # in the ticket header). The next-cutoff oval (e.g. “Tomorrow 08:00”) shows when you pass by.

Filters: unassigned, assigned to me, to others, unread, paused, closed. Search is sectioned — All, Conversations, Messages, Parts — and also finds by company name or code. With “+” you open a new request; from the three dots you can close all tickets or all up to yesterday.

  • Open: to handle or in progress
  • Unread: returns to the team (assignees removed)
  • Paused: waiting on the customer; if they write again, it reopens and stays with the operator
  • Closed: if the customer writes again, a new ticket is created

Try the filters: unassigned, mine, others, unread, paused, closed.

Center: chat, notes and quote continuity

In the center you run the conversation: messages, voice notes, photos, video, PDFs (with preview), drag & drop and an image editor before send. Internal notes (dedicated icon or “@ ”) stay yellow and team-only; you can tag a colleague or @everyone.

“N unread messages” banner, Merge / Unlink request and full-conversation open keep context. In the Information tab you update owner, contact/company notes and alerts; in History you get a read-only timeline (statuses, assignments, searches).

  • Open ticket: new messages stay on the current request
  • Paused ticket: automatic resume with the original operator
  • Closed ticket: new ticket, with option to merge into the previous one

Try it: merge the previous ticket, see unread, change status.

Right: from message to the part to quote

The right column (collapsible) collects plate, VIN and part descriptions from chat. Plate can become VIN with vehicle data; from exploded views you pick the code and continue to Qricambi or the ERP quote.

Sub-assignments let you assign a single vehicle search (with its own status) without splitting the conversation: one colleague one vehicle, another a second vehicle, on the same ticket.

  • Plate, VIN and parts tied to the ticket
  • Exploded views and parts search without leaving chat
  • Sub-assignment per vehicle search

Try plate → VIN: convert and open vehicle details without leaving the ticket.

Request list: warehouse history

From the menu open Request list: by default you see open ones; filters recover paused, unread and closed. Search by contact, company, content, status, plate or VIN.

When a workshop calls about “Tuesday’s quote”, you find it in seconds and reopen the ticket with worked context intact.

Try search and filters on request history.

Daily report: warehouse numbers

The daily report (admin-configurable in Settings → Room) arrives by email with the previous day’s KPIs, compared to the same weekday one week earlier.

It includes tickets created/closed, median times, active operators and contacts, vehicles searched, per-operator performance, time bands, open tickets over time and top customers — so owners and managers see service pace without hunting screenshots in the product.

  • Configurable recipients, frequency and send time
  • Yesterday KPIs vs same weekday prior week
  • Operator detail, hourly heatmap and top customers

Try the KPI email: toggle recipients and open operator detail.
