Request types

Configure rules that classify tickets from conversation content and assign them to the right operators. When a type is applied, Quoting24 can also assign the colleagues linked to that rule — without manual triage every time.

  • Rules with a dedicated name, color and AI prompt
  • Automatic classification from chat content
  • Type → operator mapping
  • Automatic assignment when a rule matches
  • “None” view for still-unclassified tickets

Try it: open a type, link operators or create a new rule.

From classification to ownership

Rules classify requests from conversation content and route them to the best operators. When a type is assigned to the ticket, Quoting24 can also automatically assign the operators linked to that type.

Classification becomes operational ownership: fewer tickets waiting for someone to decide whose skill it is.

Link operators to the type: when it matches, they can be assigned automatically.

Creating a new rule

Click Add, give the rule a name and write the prompt the AI uses to decide whether the request matches that type. Typical example: a prompt dedicated to body-shop requests.

After saving, link the type to the operators you want and, if auto-assignment is on, the flow starts on its own.

  • Clear name for the team (e.g. Body shop, Quote, Order)
  • Prompt describing when the rule should match
  • Operators linked to the type

Name, color and AI prompt: a typical example is a body-shop dedicated prompt.

In chat: type visible on the ticket

Once classified, the request shows its type in the list and header. The team filters by type, knows immediately if it is an order or a body-shop quote, and auto-assignment (if on) has already put the ticket on the right people.

The type appears on the ticket and guides who should work it.

“None” type

The None type collects tickets without a classification. Use it to assign a type manually, leave the ticket uncategorized, or improve prompts when too many requests land there.

The None view collects tickets not yet classified.
